Rivets are available in all sizes, shapes and materials. Whether it is a Chicago Rivet or a National Rivet or any other riveting machine, all riveters require custom designed setting tools, with specific dimensions to control the rivet. A set of riveting tools consists of a driver, anvil and jaw set. Each component of the rivet tool set has a specific purpose: (i) the jaws orient and align the rivet as it is lowered to the assembly area, (ii) the driver distributes the force across the head of the rivet, and (iii) the anvil controls the flow of the material as the rivet is compressed.
